Objective

• You are familiar with and apply the ethical and legal knowledge and skills in clinical acute care expertise.
• You know the tasks, roles and importance of clinical acute care expertise in social and health care.
• You can critically assess and develop your expertise.
• You can develop and assess your actions as a clinical expert in a multiprofessional team.
• You know the special characteristics of acute care and can acknowledge them in nursing.

• How do you strengthen your knowledge in acute care and apply the knowledge in clinical expertise?
• What are the tasks and roles of clinical

Materials

The study literature will be given at the first contact learning day.

Teaching methods

Scheduled track:
The course include five contact learning day.
The course include two written assignements. One assignement is done as group work, which will be started during contact learning. The group assignement is evaluated pass/failed. The other assignement is done individually, and is evaluted 0-5.

Student workload

The total work load of the course is 135 hours, divided in:
- Contact learning 40 hours
- Independent learning 95 hours (incl. two assignements)
