Objective

You know the basic operations of the waste management system and relevant legal requirements as well as the differences in managing various waste streams. You are aware of the possibilities for waste reduction through circular economy and familiar with the techniques used to separate, reuse and recycle waste or to recover energy from waste.

Lectures 40h (including calculation tutoring sessions)

Content scheduling

The course consists of
1) a theoretical part with lectures or calculation tutoring sessions in Teams and independent study of the material (announced later) in preparation for the exam and to help complete individual assignments.
2) a project students work on in groups
