You understand the role of gait analysis as a fundamental aspect of a podiatrist’s practice.
You can identify and define the phases, objectives and critical events of the gait cycle.
You can describe the normal kinematics and kinetics of the ankle, knee, hip and pelvis during gait.
You can identify gait deviations that contribute to common patient complaints.
You can describe typical compensatory strategies in various patient populations.
You develop your observational gait analysis skills.
You are able to analyze running.
You are able to guide customers to use walking aids.
