Objective

You are able to:
apply multi-disciplinary information base to elderly care.
work in the framework of gerontological and social gerontological approach.
take into account the social and socio-cultural perspective in multi-disciplinary elderly care.
describe the development of elderly care policies and the legislative basis related to aging, as well as the service system and varying working methods in elderly care.
use the empowering work approach with the elderly people and their families.

What is the framework of social gerontology?
What legislation, welfare benefits and service systems are related to aging?
