You are familiarwith the basic concepts of national economy.  You understand economic operations and their control. You are able to control and manage your own finances. You know the significance ofthe forest sector to the national economy of Finland.  You know the most important trade partners of Finnish forest industry. You understand the entity of Finnish forest politics. You know the objectives, means and actors of Finnish forest politics. You are able to present different kinds of policy instruments in forest politics.

How does economy work? How is theeconomicconditions evaluated?  How do you manage your finances and take care of your own finances? What is thesignificance ofthe Finnish forest sector at international, national, regional and communal level?  Whatis the significance of Russia tothe Finnish forest sector?
