Objective

You know the basics of different data models used in GIS. You know the GIS data sources and solutions usedin forestry. You are able to make different GIS analyses and visual representations.

Content

What is GIS? What are the vector and raster data models used in GIS? From where do you get or how do you produce GIS data? What kind of visual representations and analyses can you makewith GIS? For what kind of solutions is GIS used in forestry?
