Objective

• observe interiors and understand the factors which affect unity
• see the possibilities of interiors as mirrors of values and phenomena
• combine the needs of activities with the properties of spaces
• size, in residential design, the space requirements of the functions of living
• specify the objectives of design work in cooperation with the client
• create preliminary architectural drawings of your design

Content

• Does interior architecture need to correspond the exterior architecture?
• How to express abstract concepts in interior design?
• How to design premises so that they meet the intented purpose?
• What are the space requirements of different activities of living?
• How to reach mutual understanding with the client concerning the quality of the design?
• What are the specific rules and instructions I need to follow in architectural drawings?

Teaching methods

Xamk offers its students an opportunity to pursue studies flexibly to suit their various life situations. Students can choose between three learning routes: a learning route based on a working week, a learning route that accelerates the studies, and a work-based learning route.

A learning route based on a working week:
The contact teaching will be arranged on Fridays and on Saturdays approximately every second week.

5cr is 135h where contact teaching is 70h and independence working is 65h
