Objective
After the course you
- understand the basic concepts of construction
- understand the characteristics and use of the main building materials
- know how to interpret simple building drawings
- know how to hand-draw the basic structure types
- are able to apply basic guidelines in calculation
- recognize the basic building systems
- have a basic knowledge of the properties of concrete mix, as well as parts of the basic concrete materials.
