Objective

Client-orientation
• you are able to evaluate the clients’ resources and support them in the planning, implementation and assessment of their care
• you know the importance of cultural backgrounds in nursing and you are able to encounter clients from various cultures
• you understand the special features of the Russian culture
• you are familiar with the Russian models of operation in your line of work

Ethics and professionality in nursing

Clinical nursing
• you are able to use various methods in the psychosocial support of a patient
• you are able to administer and evaluate safe pharmacological treatment in the care of different diseases

• you are able to evaluate the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and assess nursing interventions according to the decision making process
• you are able to actively utilize research knowledge (recommendations, reports based on research evidence) in nursing decision making relating community and homecare nursing

Teaching methods

Scheduled track:
Community and homecare nursing 2 cr; Section 1: Community analysis, -diagnosis, lectures and seminar on group tasks, Section 2: Domeciliary care, lectures, homeworks and online exam.

Independent track:
Community and homecare nursing; seminar tasks possible to combine with work/placement.

Blended track:
Previous studies on community and home care, identifying competence.
