Objective

• you are able to plan, carry out, assess and develop acute care for patients of various ages
• you are able to support and guide patients and their close ones in different stages of the care pathway
• you are able to carry out independent decision-making as part of the overall treatment of a patient receiving acute care
• you are able to engage in cross-disciplinary and multi-professional cooperation in different stages of the patient care pathway
• you are able to demonstrate your responsibility for the quality of nursing in your own work

• nursing process for acutely ill patients
• non-medicine treatment methods in acute and intensive nursing (acute and intensive care units)
• management and self-management in acute and intensive care nursing
• health technology in acute and intensive care nursing
• cross-disciplinary teamwork and networking in acute and intensive care nursing
