Objective

After the course you have skills:
to apply the multidisciplinary knowledge base to senior and elderly care.
to work in the framework of gerontological and social gerontological approach.
to use the social and socio-cultural perspective in multi-professional senior and elderly care.
to account for the development of elderly policy and legislative basis related to aging and the service system and you know different working methods in elderly care.
to use the empowering work approach among senior citizens and their relatives.

How is aging specified as a psychical, mental and social phenomenon?
What is the social gerontological framework?
What are the legislation, welfare benefits and service system related to aging?
What are the challenges of senior citizens' functional capacity and the opportunities of social support to meet the needs?
What are the professional practices of socio-cultural work among elderly people?
What is the expertise of Bachelors of Social Services in the multi-professional elderly care?

Excellent K5 Areas have been dealt extensively; Versatile use of source-specific material; The work is well structured and logically progressive; Reflections and theories have been used in a suitable ratio; Has been written in accordance with written instructions

Good H3, H4 The areas of the task are generally broadly discussed and multiple sources used, but dealing with some issues less than above; Content is logical, structured and clear; Reflection and reasoning are incomplete; The guidelines for written works are generally followed

Satisfactory T1, T2 One-sided and incomplete handling; scarce sources with a lack of topicality; Content partly inconsistent; Imperfections in the examples; Lacks in following the writing instructions
