Objective

You get familiar with current interdisciplinary topics on soil contamination and remediation. You get familiar with the most topical environmental contaminants (types), where they come from (sources), how they contaminate soils (pathways), what impacts they have on the environment (impacts), how soils interact with them (fate), and finally how to remediate contaminated soils (cleanup). You get familiar with the basic soils types and basics of geotechnique.
