Objective

You understand the benefit of the centralized heat and power production and its influence for the environmental aspects.
You are able to choose the equipment’s and dimension them in variable district heat conditions.

Content

* Can you define Heat production capacity, understand the general principle of District Heating network, main parts and accessories. Dimensioning principles?
* How to fulfill energy economy requirements? How to do dimensioning of the customer connection and the substation? How to realize comprehensive planning and take investment and operational economy account?
* How to use District Heating substations? Fault-finding and leak detection and how energy metering, billing and tariff systems are functioning?
