Objective

You know how to work as a member of camp organizations in the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. You can recognize the possibilities that a safe and goal-oriented forest camp offers for developing communal work and education. You are familiar with the basic principles of environmental education in camp activities. You work actively in your own area of responsibility during a real camp and develop your own camping skills.

Content

How to plan, organize and implement a goal-oriented nature camp? What kind of educational and communal goals can be achieved on camps? What are the areas of responsibility in camp organizations? What kind of camping and hiking equipment is required on camps and how are they used and maintained? How to connect environmental awareness, sensitivity and responsibility to camp activities?

You are able to identify the different tasks in planning, implementing and evaluating camps and to justify your actions from the perspective of environmental education. d. You are able to work in responsible positions in camp organizations. f. You are able to work in a target-oriented manner as a member of camp groups.
