Opiskelijan työmäärä

Approximately 270 hours equals about 8 weeks of working. The course includes plenty of independent working.

Toteutuksen osien kuvaus

The course is divided into two: documenting the collection designed in the earlier course and making three outfits from it. In the documentation part students will learn what kind of material is needed to present and market a fashion collection. This includes for example lookbook and catalogues.
Students also pick three outfits from their fashion collection designed in an earlier course. They will craft patterns for the outfits and make them. Those outfits will be most likely presented next year either in catwalk fashion show or gallery show produced by students.

Further information

The courses that are recommended to attend before are Käyttäjäymmärrys (Understanding consumer profiles) and Mallistosuunnittelu (Desigin a fashion collection).

The student will need to buy fabrics etc. for their fashion collection.
