Objective

  The student is able to - recognize the special features and challenges in the global supply-demand environment - explain the factors affecting logistics planning and make-or-buy decisions - assess the opportunities for global sourcing, also from the point of view of sustainability. - make a plan for developing supplier relationships and networks - propose methods for creating customer-driven supply chains and managing lead times in international business   environment - assess risks involved in international logistics - propose methods for monitoring and developing international supply chain management.

Content

  Global supply-demand environment, international operations and logistics planning, make-or-buy decisions, global sourcing and sustainability, SRM and network planning, demand-driven supply chains, TBM in international SC´s, risk management in international logistics, performance measurement and effective management of international SCM.
