Competence will be evaluated at the demonstration event in accordance with the evaluation criteria of the "handling of refrigerants" part of the qualification part of the building engineering professional qualification.

Content scheduling

The course includes the part of the degree in the field of refrigeration installation, which is part of the professional degree in building services engineering: "handling of refrigerants".

Students complete theoretical studies and evidence related to refrigerant handling as defined in the national degree criteria at partners workshops. Completion of a part of the degree is accompanied by an exam ensuring theoretical competence in accordance with the course description.

Further information

With a combination of a degree in refrigerant handling, a completed engineering degree and suitable work experience, you can apply for the personal qualification of a person in charge of the refrigeration industry from the Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency TUKES.

Evaluation scale

Approved/Failed

Assessment methods and criteria

The student demonstrates his / her professional skills on display in various practical work tasks related to refrigerant handling in a real work environment. To the extent that the professional competence required in the part of the degree cannot be assessed on the basis of evidence, the demonstration of professional competence will be supplemented individually in other ways.
