Clinical practice III (10cr)

Objective

You can work professionally in different physiotherapy contexts with individuals and groups. You can apply your know-how of musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological and geriatric rehabilitation when planning and implementing physiotherapy. You can apply evidence based physiotherapy methods of examination, evaluation and intervention as a part of multi-professional rehabilitation in different phases of physiotherapy process. You can deepen your interaction skills in order to support a client to participate maintaining and promoting her functional capacity in her living environment.

Content

How do you assess a client´s functional capacity in the international ICF frame of reference? How do you support a client´s functional capacity by different kind of aids and by guiding her to exploit environmental possibilities? How do you motivate clients to promote their health and functional capacity in an empowering way? How do you act professionally in multi-disciplinary workplace?

Qualifications

First and second years studies successfully completed.
