Objective
You should be able to plan and implement experiential learning modules. You can work as an instructor of experiential learning in the working field of your own choice. You should be able to present theoretical and pedagogical arguments for the activities you have chosen. You should be able to choose the most appropriate reflecting methods for each group and activity. You gain skills in and knowledge of experiential activities.
Content
How do you plan an experiential learning module and what is the role of the instructor during the process? Why must an experience be processed and what kind of reflection methods can you use to support understanding and growth? What kind of experiential learning applications and environments can you use as a community educator?
Qualifications
Attending the course requires the prior completion of the course Adventure Education and the International Award Programme.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
a) You are able to use professional concepts related to experiential education consistently. b) You are able to evaluate information from key information sources critically. c) You are able to work as a team member in the working life, identify and describe problems in experiential learning situations. d) You should be able to analyze instructional situations in experiential learning. g) You should be able to apply the ethical guidelines of experiential education in different situations.
