Special education (5cr)

Objective

You acquaint yourself with the individual and special needs of a child and youngsters (target groups of special education). You are able to support individual development and learning readiness of a child and youth. You are capable of defining the basic concepts of special education and describe the professional practices of early childhood education and special education.

Content

What kind of special needs do child and youth have? How can one support the development and learning readiness of child and youth? What are the main concepts of special education? In what way can one take into account the viewpoint of a family in the practices of special education?

Qualifications

Knowledge base and work orientation and Professional interaction and counselling modules.

Assessment criteria, good (3)
