Objective

You will raise your competence in project management and in research, development and innovation (RDI) management by doing a real-life project in the field of environmental health/protection/measurement/technology/management. The project can be done individually or as a member of a group. You will learn the characteristics of environmental engineering projects and how to collaborate with project stakeholders. You will develop your ability to apply project management skills in the field of environmental engineering.

Content

What are the basics and characteristics of environmental engineering projects? How the aims and goals are settled for the selected topic? How to implement the different project phases and time management? How to close the project, how to report about them and how to disseminate the final results (e.g. seminar presentation will be required)?

Students can b. evaluate information sources critically c. work as a responsible team members and identify and describe the problems of the professional field. e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices f. show their own ability for the goal orientation and promote teams’ goal-oriented operations
