After the course the student is able to: work in a client-oriented way and aim for adjustment evaluate and develop ethical behaviour, target-orientedness, quality, profitability and impressiveness in their work define and apply the most central services and benefits and choose the most effective methods for the variable conditions of individuals, families and communities discover and interpret the changes and future challenges of social legislation, professional practices and expertise visualize the professional's role and work in the social sector and in multi-professional networks

Essential contents: international and social changes and social exclusion as a challenge within the social sector, services and benefits in relation to prevention and mitigation of social exclusion working methods  variable roles of professional work in the social sector and cooperation with other sectors principles of socially sustainable development ethical questions
