Objective

After this study module, the student will be able to:understand and use the system of the University of Applied Sciencesuse the existing range of learning environmentsapply for and use the variety of student services availableplan their individual study plans (ISP) during the first year of studyacquire basic skills and knowledge, and know how to enumerate the various types of information

Info: • nurse • Psychologist • Pastor • Student Board Secretary • Library info, information specialist • Moodle info • Union and student organizations • Virtual portal • Career services • IT services   Group tutor: • info about the semesters (2) / academic year (1); course offerings and timing • participate in own group allocation (Student tutors included) • carry out interviews in the first semester of study • is available when the student will carry out SoleHOPSs (i.e. individual study plans) in the second semester of study                                Head of Programme: • familiarise students with the contents of own programme, professions and their qualifications (eg, visiting alumni, employer visits, high school students visit, company visits, teamwork)   Study counsellor • inform the student of counselling services in KyAMK • go through the examination regulations with students     Student tutors: • presenting the school facilities • participate in group allocation         Study Affairs Secretary: • presentation of study office services for students • verify original certificates   Library Information Specialist: • Basic data acquisition, integrated into a period of study in the context of education (communication/ professional substance) Information skills teaching criteria Library Info (2h) to provide an overview of library services. Information desk to check out your library's collections department, collections database, and provides an overview of the electronic library of materials and the Nelli portal. Information retrieval criteria (2h) is practiced in information retrieval techniques and search across different databases. Education presented are the most important databases and e-resources and the use of the Nelli portal. 100% attendance is required (online course and exam). Sessions can be integrated in the context of a course.
