Objective
After the successful completion of the course , students understand the principles of interface design and the most common ly used nterface design patterns have improved their skills in designing for effect as well as for usability are able to apply sability theory in their design concepts know how to perform usability testing and evaluate user experience
Content
Students plan and develop a suitable interface concept and carry out usability testing in groups. Basics of usability and user experience (the importance of aesthetics and usability) Planning and designing a feel and look for an interface Psychology behind usability (human perception, action, and memory) Usability testing methods, planning, implementing and reporting Most common interface design patterns and their usage
