Objective
After successfully completing this course, the student will have learnt: advanced techniques for visually documenting restoration work how to produce images with a modern digital camera the basic steps in digital image processing

Physics of digital images and the basics of digital image editing vector vs. bitmap images, image formats, image size, image resolution and file size Advanced techniques in digital Image editing: colour correction, knocking out backgrounds, highlighting selected areas and correct resampling of images for the purpose Basics of digital layout and publishing. Introduction to PDF format Practising basic image file handling and adjustments Practicsng the use of a camera on a variety of subjects in various conditions
