Objective

After completing the course, the students will be able to: explain and use in English several basic concepts related to work in the deck department orally describe in English the essential tasks, duties, responsibilities, and equipment in the deck department ,adjusting the content and means of expression  to one’s own language skills and the skills and expectations of the recipients   within the field of deck department operations and duties, produce expository texts with the help of material in Finnish    choose vocabulary and grammatical structures appropriate for expository writing
