  After the course, the student will: know the operational environment of the farming industry potential of cultivated areas to produce energy plant species suitable for energy, and growing and harvesting them  know basics of peat production

Content

-aspects of farming and cultivation -cultivation and harvesting of reed canary grass -straw and other by-products of farming -energy use of corn, potato, sugar beet, and oil plants -energy willow -subsidies for cultivation  -peat production
