Objective

You can assess your own, your clients' and client groups' health fitness in a versatile way by making use of different tests and monitors.
You can interpret test results, make conclusions and use the results in instructing clients.

Content

How do you assess health fitness
How do you test endurance, musculoskeletal fitness and movement control and measure body composition?
On what grounds do you choose client-customised tests for measuring health fitness?
How do you test the health fitness of clients and client groups in a safe, reliable and repeat manner?
How do you interpret test results and use the results in your work?
How do you present test results and feedback to clients?
How do you assess your own testing skills and make use of client and peer feedback in developing your own activities?

Evaluation

Students can
a. use professional terminology systematically.
b. look for information in the key information sources of the field.
c. identify interrelated tasks.
d. work together with clients, users and target groups.
e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices
f. work as team members in a goal-oriented way.
g. justify their actions according to the ethical principles of the professional field.
