Objective

Having successfully completed the study unit, students: can recognize and evaluate the safety hazards, risk and dangerous situations  faced by clients, personnel, and equipment in social and health care can evaluate and consider factors affecting safety when planning buildings and facilities can motivate personnel to recognize health risks and dangerous situations and can provide information about them can give instructions and use of equipment related to client/patient, personnel and equipment safety, and explain the instructions can map the educational needs related to safety, and plan and implement safety education can apply their knowledge and select equipment and devices promoting health in the field can secure the functioning of the follow-up and evaluation systems of safety management
