Clinical practice II (10cr)

Objective

You can work professionally with individuals and groups in various physiotherapy contexts. You apply evidence based methods of physiotherapeutic examination, evaluation and interventions. You participate multi-professional transactions. You can evaluate your own know-how critically and promote your professional practices.  

Content

How do you evaluate functional ability and preconditions to rehabilitation?  What physiotherapy methods do you use and how do you apply them? How do you give reasons for selection of these methods? How do you use client- centered and multi-professional approach? How do you reflect your own know-how and skills? 

Qualifications

Compulsory professional studies 1.- 4. semester.  Clinical practice I.      

Assessment criteria, good (3)

You can a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations b. evaluate information sources critically c. work as team members in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field d. evaluate operations in customer, user and target group situations e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices f. promote teams’ goal-oriented operation. g. apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations
