Clinical practice III (10cr)

Objective

You can act professionally with individuals and groups in different physiotherapy contexts. You apply evidence-based physiotherapy methods both in assessment and therapy occasions. You can solve problems in dialogue and interaction with multi-professional teams.  You can evaluate your own working know-how critically and promoting your own professional practice. You can evaluate quality and effectiveness of physiotherapy. 

Content

How do you evaluate functional ability and preconditions for rehabilitation? What physiotherapy methods do you use and how do you apply them? How do you give reasons for selection of these methods? How do you use client-centered and multi-professional approach? How do you reflect your own know-how and skills?

You can a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations b. evaluate information sources critically c. work as team members in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field d. evaluate operations in customer, user and target group situations e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices f. promote teams’ goal-oriented operation. g. apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations
