Objective

You will deepen your knowledge and skills concerning special groups in podiatry, that is, patients with exceptionally high tendency to suffer from foot lesions (the elderly, handicapped or people with an underlying disease such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthirits, psoriasis) which predispose foot problems. Other risk factors which cause feet strain are caused by burden of living such as poor nutrition, immobility and excessive alcohol consumption and hobbies and sports that overload the feet. You will know the meaning of the international term "high risk foot". You master the preventive and conservative podiatric treatments and you will also familiarize yourself with operative treatments.

What are the preventive, conservative and operative procedures with high risk foot patients? When and why do you implement vascular surgery, plastic surgery and radiology in high risk foot patients? Surgery, orthopaedics, exercises to the special groups
