Objective
After completing the course, the student will be able to name and locate in Finnish and Latin the following human ligaments and define their functions (the course focuses on the most important structures): • Ligaments of the upper and lower cervical spine • Ligaments of the spine and thorax, including intervertebral discs • Ligaments of the pelvic girdle • Ligaments of the upper limb • Ligaments of the lower limb
Qualifications
Course: Human musculoskeletal anatomy 1: Basic terms and structures 1 - 1 ECTS or equivalent knowledge.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Passed: The student demonstrates proficiency in the essential knowledge of the musculoskeletal system anatomy and achieves at least 70% correct answers in the exam. Failed: The student's understanding of the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system is inadequate, and they scored less than 70% on the exam.
