Objective

You learn the basic podiatric manual skills and the use of intruments and equipment in podiatry as well as the related safety issues. You become familiar with the social and health care sector, and you can identify podiatric processes as part of it. Familiarizing yourself with the podiatric clinic will make you see podiatry as part of the social and health care sector. You understand the significance of interaction, communication, manual skills, safety and (electronic) documentation for a successful podiatric therapy process.

What are the basic manual skills (clinical and examination skills) in podiatry? What is the role of podiatry as a part of health care and rehabilitation services? How do you get and maintain podiatry customers and customerships? What is meant by laboratories/ labs? How do you develop your skills through practical training? Which skills do you need when working at a podiatry clinic?
