Objective
1. You know the dimensioning of air conditioning systems i.e. to select the air handling units with components, air duct networks and terminal air devices, and to calculate performance characteristics of the fans 2. You master the main principles of air distribution and the calculation of air jets 3. You know the key elements of ventilation effectiveness, as ventilation and capture efficiency 4. You know the Finnish national building codes of ventilation and fire safety 5. You master the basics of fire safety and know which kind of air ventilation systems and fire technical products can be used in different kind of buildings. 6. You know how the basics of mechanical smoke extraction and the importance of the pressurization.
