Objective

You’ll learn about the consequences of disruptions to the natural carbon cycle and the international efforts to mitigate the impacts of climate change. You’ll understand carbon cycle as a part of bioeconomy and the possibilities of life-cycle assessment in carbon management. You’ll study examples of carbon capture and storage technologies as well as potential for carbon sequestration of forest bioeconomy. The course consists of 3 CU of theory and a 2 CU case study selected by students.
