Objective

You are able to apply theoretical knowledge to practical client work. You are capable of working systematically and goal-orientedly in a service unit. You show skills in counselling work, acting as a member of multiprofessional work community and organizing working practices. You show in practice your familiarity with supervisory duties and leadership and you are able to reflect on your personal way of working as a team leader. You know the main principles of quality management and the meaning of quality work in social services. You adopt the investigative and developmental work orientation as a basis of the work in social field. You plan and implement goal-oriented counselling work at the individual and group level by utilizing assessment forms.

Content

How systematic and goal-oriented work practices become concrete in a work of team leader? What are the main competences of client work? What are your learning and developmental needs? How multidiscipline and networking practices become concrete in your training place? What kind of organizational skills are needed in a work community? How the work is organized? What are the contents, duties and the role of the team leader in development work? What is the societal meaning of the work? How the work is evaluated and developed? What is the share of quality management and client work in the work of a team leader and how the quality of work is evaluated? How do you work as a team leader and what kind of approach is guiding your work? How investigative and developmental work orientation is guiding your work?

Assessment criteria, good (3)

c) work as team members in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field. d) evaluate operations in customer, user and target group situations. e) choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices. f) work as team members in a goal-oriented way. g) apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations.
