Objective

You are familiar with the main concepts of information technology, information management and digital archiving. You can identify the requirements of digital archiving. You know the challenges and possibilities related to information management and digital archiving in your own operating environment. You understand the role of enterprise architecture in developing information management.

Content

What is information management? What does digital archiving mean? Which are the main concepts related to information technology, information management and digital archiving? Why and how can digital archiving be implemented? Which are the differences in digital archiving in the private and public sectors? What does enterprise architecture mean?

Evaluation

Students can
a) find, study, produce and critically evaluate multidisciplinary data in the field of information management and digital archiving.
e) evaluate different strategic approaches and justify their use in management and development.

Opiskelumateriaali ilmoitetaan opintojakson alussa. Pääosa opiskelumateriaalista löytyy verkko-oppimisympäristöstä.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Opintojaksolla opiskellaan sekä verkko-oppimisympäristössä että lähiopetuksessa.

Student workload

Opiskelijan työmäärä opintojaksolla (5op) on 135h, josta lähiopetusta on 15h ja itsenäistä- sekä verkko-opiskelua 120h. Opiskelu sisältää itsenäistä aineistoihin perehtymistä, oppimistehtävien laatimista sekä itsenäisesti että ryhmissä.

Assessment methods and criteria

Opintojakso arvioidaan oppimistehtävien sekä niistä tehtävien esityksen perusteella. Opintojaksolla ei järjestetä tenttiä.

a) hankkia, käsitellä, tuottaa ja arvioida kriittisesti monialaista tietoa erityisosaamisalueellasi
e) arvioida strategisia lähestymistapoja ja perustella niiden käyttöä johtamisen ja kehittämisen näkökulmasta.
