Study forms and methods
The course has been designed to be challenging, involving and preparing you for writing scientific articles and thesis. There are several diverse elements which cover the varying aspects of the R&D experience.
This course offers the opportunity to work as part of a team, examine your personal impact on group dynamics, receive peer feedback on your performance (within a team) and get to know researchers' work. The students are encouraged to participate fully during the course.
Timing of exams and assignments
During the course a student must pass several tests, and at the end a final test is required.
Presentation of research idea is required.

Course part description
This course consists of two parts:
4 cr - the teacher gives you general skills in research and development and thesis work
1 cr - the teacher gives you information on XAMK assignments
