You are able to describe the new dynamic business environment; the internal and external factors that influence a company's operation.

You are able to analyse information gained from company visits, workshops with local businesses, and business forums and seminars, and utilise this information in your learning.

You can distinguish between the forces that constitute the new business environment through real company cases.

You are able to plan and execute networking activities within the scope of the studies to gain an insight into stakeholder interests.

Student workload

Students are expected to attend all sessions and be prepared to travel for company visits. The course is intended to be carried out as intensive weeks of 6 hour sessions approx every 2 weeks. Many tasks will be carried out in groups although there will also be individual reflection.

Content scheduling

Course is arranged around visiting businesses and organisations in Finland and visits from business representatives.

Assessment methods and criteria

Evaluation is based on active participation in company visits and visits by company representatives and entrepreneurs, reflections and assignments.
