You are able to describe the most important concepts related to the effectiveness of rehabilitation services.
You improve your competence in the critical assessment of research articles and the reliability of research effectiveness data.
You know the target groups of effectiveness evaluation and the key indicators by which effectiveness is evaluated.
You are able to evaluate rehabilitation services from the cost-effectiveness perspective as part of decision-making and strategic management.
You are able to utilize effectiveness data in rehabilitation practices.

What is the hierarchy in the reliability of effectiveness data?
What are the target groups for evaluating the effectiveness of rehabilitation services?

Evaluation
You are able to find, study, produce and critically evaluate multidisciplinary data concerning rehabilitation.
You are able to evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation as part of development and strategic management.
You are able to solve problems in the evaluation of cost-effectiveness.
Course material
Material is available in eLearning platform and students are supposed to use other relevant literature for the studies.
Study forms and methods
This is an online course implemented by means of an eLearning platform (Learn and Teams) including webinars, group meetings, project work, independent tasks, peer discussions and seminars. The student must have a computer fitted with a web-cam and software necessary for the completion of studies and a microphone (head-set).
RDI and work-related cooperation
It is advised that written reports and other assignments are integrated into your own field of work with a focus on the development of rehabilitation practices.
This course includes integration to Xamk RDI-projects.
International cooperation
This course is implemented in an international and multidisciplinary students’ study group, where you can share your knowledge and learn from others.
