What are Russian forest resources, forest ownership and forest administration like?
What is the structure of Russian forest industry like?
What kind of possibilities and challenges are there in the Northwest Russia for the forest sector entrepreneurship?
What is the significance of Russia as an export country of Finnish forest industry products and as a raw wood importer?
How do I cooperate in an international group?

Evaluation

Students can
- use professional vocabulary and concepts proficiently in international cooperation.
- look for information in the key information sources of the field.
- work as team members in a goal-oriented way.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Osaamistavoitteet opintojaksolle Venäjän metsätalouden toimintaympäristö
Tiedät Venäjän metsätalouden ja – teollisuuden erityispiirteet.
Osaat määritellä Luoteis-Venäjän liiketoimintaympäristön erityispiirteet.
Osaat toimia kansainvälisessä ympäristössä.
Opintojakso muodostuu kolmesta osasta:
1. Tutustuminen Venäjän metsätalouteen ja toimintaympäristöön oppimistehtävien luentojen kautta.
2. Viikon opintomatka Pietariin, jolloin työskennellään yhdessä yhteistyökoulujemme opiskelijoiden kanssa.
3. Opintoretken jälkeen tehtävät oppimistehtävät ja itsearvio.
Opintojakso ei sisällä tenttiä. Opintojakso tehdään syksyn 2022 aikana.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Pietarin opintoretken aikana vieraillaan Venäjällä toimivissa metsäalan yrityksissä ja tehdään työelämästä saatu kehittämistehtävä.

Timing of exams and assignments

Opintojaksolla ei ole tenttiä.

International cooperation

Opintojakso tehdään yhteistyössä pietarilaisten yhteistyökoulujen kanssa. Koulut ovat St. Petersburg State Forest Technical University ja St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design.

Student workload

Opiskelijan työmäärä muodostuu seuraavasti:
Kontaktiopetus ennen opintomatkaa 10 tuntia
Oppimistehtävät ennen opintomatkaa 30 tuntia
Opintomatka ja valmistelut 60 tuntia
Oppimistehtävät 35 tuntia
Lisäksi opiskelijat osallistuvat mahdollisuuksien mukaan keväällä 2022 järjestettävään pietarilaisten opiskelijoiden vastavierailuun.
