The basic training of clinical nursing (6 cr)

Objective

You understand the nurse's duties and responsibilities in patient safe nursing.
You can operate according to the values of the nursing and according to ethical principles.
You apply the principles of the rejection of aseptics and infections in the nursing.
You can create a good relationship with the patient/client.
You can systematically monitor and estimate the patient's need for care and recognise patients that need urgent care.
You know the key methods of the clinical nursing and diagnostic tests.
You can respond to the patients´needs of the care and you can record them according to a structured model.
You can report and consult according to the ISBAR protocol.
You can look for and apply evidence based knowledge in the nursing of different patient groups.
You understand the care paths of the patients and the special characteristics of the care.
You can evaluate the resources of patients. You can carry ergonomically out the care which promotes rehabilitating and actions.
You can plan, implement and evaluate safe medicine treatment.
You know how to evaluate, observe and carry out the pain management.
You can work according to the principles of the sustainable development.
