Students
- understand the importance of bridge team work in piloting
- get familiar with pilotage and archipelago navigation in practice
- have ability to conduct passage plan for piloting passage and have ability to evaluate the plan and proceeding
Content
- lectures and project. Including excursions on pilotage
- pilotage legislation and pilot as a member of bridge team
- planning a pilotage voyage taking into consideration the resources of the bridge and ship and the importance of effective team work
- project reporting to the cooperating shipping company
