Objective

Students
- understand the importance of bridge team work in piloting
- become familiar with piloting procedures and archipelago navigation in practice
- have ability to conduct passage plans for piloting passages and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan

Content

- lectures and project study. including onboard observation
- pilotage legislation and pilot as a member of bridge team
- planning a pilotage voyage taking into consideration the resources of the bridge and ship and the importance of effective team work
- project reporting to a cooperating shipping company

Osallistuminen luennoille ja hyväksytysti suoritetut harjoitustehtävät ja tentti.
Osallistuminen ekskursiona toteutettavaan luotsausmatkaan.
