Objective

After successfully completing the course, you:
- understand the process of graphic design
- are familiar with the history of graphic design
- understand the basic principles of graphic design
- are able to choose proper typography
- know the basics of print methods
- can design basic graphic products

Content

- How to design and lay out a graphic design product?
- How to choose typography?
- How to use pictures and colour?
- How to take target group needs into consideration in the design process?
- How to publish the product?

Evaluation

Students can
a. use professional vocabulary systematically.
b. look for information in the key information sources of the field.
c. identify interrelated tasks.
d. work together with customers, users and target groups.
e. use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field.
f. work as team members in a goal-oriented way.
g. justify their actions according to the ethical principles of the professional field.

Teaching which is in accordance with the working order and control ( 5 cr).
