Objective

You understand the management principles and operating models of key cooperative authoritie', and are able to act as an emergency care expert in operative situations

You are able to assess the operation, processes and management of the EMS from the patients’ and personnel’s perspectives.

You understand the main principles of EMS preparedness in atypical hazards such as mass casualty situations.

You are ably to apply TECC protocol according to the current situation.

What are the management principles and operating models of key cooperative authorities, and how do you act as an emergency care expert in operative situations?

How do you assess the operation, processes and management of the emergency care service system from the patients’ and personnel’s perspectives?

What is meant by EMS preparedness in atypical hazards, such as mass casualty situations?

How do you apply TECC protocol according to the current situation?

Evaluation

Assessment scale 1-5 (level 3), graduation level

Students can
a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
b. evaluate information sources critically.
c. work as team members in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field.
d. evaluate operations in customer, user and target group situations.
e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.
f. promote teams’ goal-oriented operation.
g. apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations.
