Objective
The aim of the course is that you understand the different characteristics and use of electric drives. In addition, you get to know the protection procedures of engines. You become familiar with the operation of frequency converters.
You know the most common research methods. You are are able to write according to scientific writing principles and know the thesis writing process. You also know how to acquire information efficiently for your thesis.

What are electric drives?
How do frequency converters work?
How are electric drives dimensioned?
How are electric drives put into operation?
What is the structure of the bachelor's thesis?
Which writing instructions should be followed?
What kind of language should be used in research reports?
Evaluation
Students can
a) use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.

c) work as team members in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field.
e) choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.
