Project management skills (5cr)

Objective

You show familiarity with the principles of project management and know the most important concepts related to project work.
You are able to design and implement a working life-based project and know how to evaluate its success.
You are able to report on the different phases of the project in accordance with the instructions provided. You are able to act as a responsible member or a coordinator of the project team according to set objectives.

Content

What are the main methods of project planning, implementation and management?
What are the concepts related to project operations?
How do you plan, implement and report a project and how do you evaluate its success?
How do you use different tools (incl. HanSa) in project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting?
How do you work in project groups?
How do you manage a project?

Evaluation

Students can

Learn-oppimisalustalla opastekstejä, artikkeleita, tehtäviä ja Ornanet-e-kirjoja (oppimateriaalit aiheesta)

Study forms and methods

Teorialuennot, ryhmätyöt, käytännön projektin toteutus alkaen projektiin hakeutumisesta joko projektipäälliköksi tai asiantuntijaksi. Projektin suorittaminen omassa projektiryhmässä alusta loppuun dokumentointeineen.
Kurssilla käytetään myös Microsoftin Project-ohjelmistoa projektin suunnittelussa ja raportoinnissa. Sekä tietysti Word-, PowerPoint- ja Excell-sovelluksiakin.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Oppimisprojektit jotka projektiryhmät suorittavat alusta loppuun, ovat työelämästä. Asiakkaiden ja yritysten toimeksiantoja.

Timing of exams and assignments

Projektit tulee valmistua lukukauden aikana, ja tarkemmat katselmointihetket ilmaistaan kurssin alettua aiheeseen liittyvillä ohjaus- ja oppitunneilla.

International cooperation

Kansainvälisiä projekteja ei nyt ole tarjolla.

5 Op tämän kurssin Projektijohtamisen osuutta. Mutta asia on kokonaisuus, johon liittyy myös Viestinnän ja Johtamistaidon opetusta, jotka arvioidaan omiksi kursseikseen.
