Objective

- You learn the history of building development, from home to semi-detached houses and commercial buildings.
- You understand how the division of land has affected the village landscape, the yard and the individual buildings.
- You recognize the importance of laws, regulations and zoning in protecting the built cultural environment.
- You know the construction materials and techniques of different eras and the methods of construction.
- You know the basics of valuation in protecting a building and outline the restoration work that preserves the characteristics of the property.
