Metsänkasvatus, menetelmät ja kannattavuus-kirja (Huuskonen, Hynynen, Valkonen). Hyvän metsänhoidon suositukset. Osoitetut sivut Tapion taskukirjasta. Learn-materiaali ja luennoilla osoitettu oheislukemisto, sekä harjoitusohjeet.
Study forms and methods
Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Opintojaksolla perehdytään metsänkasvatuksen eri menetelmiin luento-opetuksen, erilaisten oppimistehtävien ja maastoharjoitusten avulla. Osaat esimerkiksi laatia taimikonhoidon ja kasvatushakkuiden suunnitelmat ottaen huomioon taloudelliset, biologiset ja ekologiset periaatteet. Ymmärrät mitä ovat eri taimikonhoitomenetelmät? Miten kasvatusmetsiä käsitellään? Harvennustavat? Jatkuva kasvatus? Miten erilaisia metsiköitä käsitellään puuntuotannollisesti? Monimuotoisuuden huomioiminen. Hiilensidonta?
